Phayathai is a new Pan-Asian restaurant located on Lake City Way. My husband and I heard about Phayathai from our apartment building owner and we decided to have dinner there during its first few weeks in business. We were pleasantly surprised with the food and atmosphere offered by this restaurant.

We live within walking distance of quite a few restaurants and I was wondering if Phayathai would be worth our drive. We pulled into the driveway and looked into the window and I immediately thought the restaurant would be too pricey. We took a look at the menu, however, and realized the prices were very reasonable for dinner, so we ventured in. We were immediately greeted by a friendly face and some water. Shortly after, we ordered food and had a nice conversation while waiting. The restaurant has a nice ambiance; very relaxing, warm, and friendly. When our food came out, we were hooked. I could not stop repeating how delicious the food was! The flavors blended well, and the meal was filling; not bad for $7.95 a plate!

I would recommend Phayathai to anyone. I have no complaints right now, but if I have one in the future, I'll be sure to post it.
