Greasemonkey is a great Firefox extension for adding your own Javascript code to arbitrary web pages that you visit on the net. Somehow, after installing it, I managed to set my default editor for scripts to a Greasemonkey script instead of a text editor. For a while, I had no idea that this had happened and was getting pretty annoyed by Greasemonkey appearing to do nothing when I clicked "New User Script" or "Edit." To change this, simply navigate to about:config and change the greasemonkey.editor property to point to the location of a text editor. |
